Elizabeth Abbene grew up with an interest, respect and reverence for the world cultures. Since moving from New York in 1979, she has studied Eastern Arts as well as holistic health, nutrition, yoga, and a variety of meditative practices. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Natural Health with a Master's Degree in Holistic Nutrition. She also continues her study of movement and intuitive embodiment through yoga, Tai Chi, and Dancemeditation.


She helps support the innate healing response of the body through nutritional strategies, relaxation and visualization, and movement. She uses yoga, Tai Chi and Dancemeditation as
exercise, toning the outer and inner body by combining gentle movement with relaxed, natural breathing. Also, these disciplines are used as meditative practices encouraging moving with harmony, gracefulness, and purpose to assist in the attainment of inner balance. The rhythmic
movements help develop flexibility, strength, coordination, a quiet mind and an awake heart.
