Aura Photos & Energy Readings, Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m. - Noon
Bobby Sullivan, a Twin Cities-based energetic healer who teaches about meta-physical topics throughout the country, presents his Aura Energy Photos and Reading sessions for one day at the Center, in conjunction with GL-Lakeville holistic healer, Dr. Gary Hulin. Each attendee will sit for a photograph taken by Sullivan using his aura-imaging equipment and then receive an intuitive interpretation of the aura. Sullivan developed his intuitive and healing abilities from an early age; he also is a former senior executive in Minneapolis's advertising industry. In early 2005 Sullivan partnered with Echo Bodine to open “The Center,” a healing and teaching facility where, on average, about 150 students a week take classes in healing and spirituality. He subsequently left "The Center" to devote full-time to his work as a healer, past-life regression facilitator, and aura interpreter. Each 20-minute session is $30. To register, you must call the Center at 651.319.9525.

The All-Levels Yin & Yang Approach to Organ Detoxification, Saturday, March 24, 1 - 3 p.m.
In this two-hour workshop we will find a fully balanced asana practice exploring both yang and yin postures. We will develop tools to balance your current style of practice whether it is primarily yang or yin in nature. We will warm the body and increase circulation targeting the torso, major organs, and intestinal tract using a systematic sequence of decompressive, compressive, and twisting postures. The sequence allows each student to work at their own level of intensity, regardless of their level of experience, strength or flexibility. Areas specifically addressed are the kidneys and liver, lymphatic and circulatory systems, and skin along with the ascending colon, transverse colon, and descending colon. In addition to organ detoxification we will discuss the energetic qualities of these organs and gain understanding of how the health of our organs contributes to clearing our minds so we can live with more intention, vitality, and increased well-being. This workshop will leave you feeling energized while clam and focused. It is suitable for all levels, both yin and yang students alike. If you currently incorporate both yang and yin styles of yoga into your routine, you will love this workshop! If you are a yangster curious about yin, here is your chance! If you are a yinster curious about flow classes, here is your chance! $35 - Register early to save $5!

Unveiling the Heart: Sufi Dancemeditation With Dunya, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, March 30 - April 1, Mendota Heights, with Dunya
This workshop will combine curvilinear motion, vibration, and other naturally resonant movement motifs resource from ancient dance and mystical Sufi movement traditions of the Middle East with continual breath awareness to connect our body's inner and outer space and ignite our intuition.  Our body uncovers its rhythm musicality.  Our fascia luxuriate in their natural curving form.  Thus soothed, we find clarity, and physical and spiritual refreshment.

The weekend will begin with breathing and slow movement to a rich tapestry of music.  Dunya will guide you through specific progressions designed to shift awareness into a receptive state.  She'll then introduce her signature work:

  • Rocking Array: to unlock frozen and frightened body parts
  • Spinal Spiral & Wave: a sensorial exploration of the central body stem
  • Vibration: to energize organs and tissues, trigger the pelvic and thoracic voices
  • Iconic Veil: a versatile tool for conversation with space and personal narrative

The practices help us cultivate our internal Compassionate Witness - the ability to observe ourselves without judgment, with curiosity and pleasure.  The techniques activate and honor our body's intelligence, free us from habitual internal patterns, and increase our awareness of embodied present-ness.  Movement process is interspersed with periods of rest to allow integration.  We'll reserve time at the end for conversation, questions, and explanations from Dunya.

This workshop is for those who wish for revitalization, a more sensual, intuitive relationship with movement, and an experience of embodied mysticism.  Participants will leave with a refined, embodied concentration, self-sustaining vitality, a settled mind, and an awakened heart.  This is a rare opportunity to work with acclaimed authority and meditative leader, Dunya, founder and Principal Teacher of the healing movement system, Dancemeditation, a path of breath and intuition.

You can attend one, two, or all three days:

Friday, 7 - 9 p.m. $60

Saturday, 2 - 6 p.m. $120

Sunday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. $90
