Continuing-Education Yoga Teacher Training

Dates: June 3 - 4, 2017
CEC: 10-Hour (10 Contact)
Location: Lakeville

While not every teacher dreams of owning their own studio, it is helpful as a teacher to understand all that is involved in running such a business. In this training module participants will learn the basics needed for creating a business plan.

Topics Include

  • Options for what type of legal entity to form
  • Creating a budget
  • Naming your business
  • Selecting real estate
  • Hiring teachers
  • Scheduling classes
  • Marketing your business
  • And everything in between

Students will identify goals for their future business, real or imagined, and walk away with a business plan outline and draft budget. A laptop computer or tablet with Word and spreadsheet software such as Numbers or Excel is extremely recommended because participants will be doing hands-on budget and plan development.  This training is only open to students currently enrolled in Green Lotus's 200-Hour and 300-Hour Teacher Training programs, or under a Green Lotus License Agreement.
