Dates: January 25 - 27, 2019
CEC: 26-Hours (22 Contact, 4 Non-Contact)
One cannot study yoga deeply without eventually finding the path of the sister science: ayurveda, which can be translated as "life knowledge".
Participants will learn about doshas, gunas, marma points, mantra, panchakarma, herbalism and how to cultivate a balanced ayurvedic diet. Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to apply the basic concepts of ayurveda to the classroom, determine an individual's constitution, and assess what style of yoga is most healing for each student according to their ayurvedic constitution, or dosha.
This experiential training will include:
- Ayurvedic pot luck
- Ayurvedic recipes
- Ayurvedic remedies
- Ayurvedic guidance on relationships
- Ayurvedic guidance on yoga to balance a student's constitution
This training is open to yoga teachers who have completed their 200-hour training, and to our 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training students.
