Madeira, Portugal is an archipelago situated in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is known for being a haven of natural beauty where tranquility meets adventure.
Over the years, Marcia and MB have come to love Portugal with its warm people, diverse geography, and charming towns and cities. They chose this trip because of its stunning landscapes with dense verdant forests, volcanic mountains, gorgeous coastlines, valleys, and mountains, and flower gardens with exuberant colors. And then there’s the food, the wine, the hospitality, and the opportunity to pursue wellness in this magical setting.
For the entire stay, we will call the Sentido Galosol Hotel home.
The first green hotel building on Madeira, it is 100% self-sustainable in energy and offers a unique cliff-edge location, premium accommodations, a salt water outdoor pool, as well as a luxurious spa with panoramic ocean-view saunas. We will have access to special areas for an unlimited number of activities like daily yoga and meditation classes with MB and Marcia, diving, hiking, and kayak tours, among others.

You’ll enjoy activities ranging from a sunset walk that leads to a picturesque Levada, a charming aqueduct bordered by a scenic pedestrian trail, to a visit to the bustling Funchal Market, with its vivid displays of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and handcrafted products, in the heart of the capital town of Funchal to savoring locally sourced food.

Your 8-day retreat includes

Cost Summary
A $500 deposit holds your space.
$3549 per person based on double occupancy
$4249 per person based on single occupancy
A deposit of $500 is due no later than November 23, 2025. Final payment is due by February 23, 2026.

Refunds and Cancellations
Deposit: A $500 non-refundable deposit is due with your reservation. Deposit is due at minimum 180 days prior to departure. Should deposit not be made prior to 180 days prior to departure, trip pricing and availability is subject to change.
Final Payment: Final balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
Revision Fees: A handling fee of $25 per transaction will be assessed for any change or revision made to a reservation. A change of departure date within 6 months of departure will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation Charges: Cancellations of confirmed bookings and transfers to new travel dates both result in penalties and fees assessed by travel suppliers. If you need to transfer or cancel for any reason prior to tour departure, the following cancellation fees will be assessed on your tour:
More than 120 days prior to departure: non-refundable deposit will be retained
120 – 90 days prior to departure: 30% of tour price
89 – 60 days prior to departure: 50% of tour price
59 - 30 days prior to departure: 75% of tour price
100% penalty of land or cruise price if cancellation made less than 30 days prior to arrival
