Angela Peterson

Massage Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Therapy, and Reiki

Angela is a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner who brings a wide range of therapeutic techniques to her work. Her massage offerings include Swedish relaxation, trigger point therapy, cross‑fiber friction, therapeutic positional release, mobility and joint movement, pressure point work, manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder Technique), Thai‑inspired table work, polyvagal relaxation, and deep‑tissue methods. She also offers Reiki meditation, relaxation, and healing sessions, either hands‑on or touch‑free.

Angela’s interest in healing began at age eight, when her great‑aunt - whose many professions included reflexology - relieved her stomach pain with what felt like a “magic foot rub.” Over the years, she learned how self‑care and therapeutic touch can support health and well‑being.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Angela spent 25 years teaching secondary science and held roles in environmental data analysis, higher‑education administration, greenhouse management, and naturalist work. She earned her M.Ed. in Science Education and has always woven movement, nature, and curiosity into her life - through travel, scuba, swimming, hiking, and summers spent exploring with her son. Today she works both as a scientist and a massage therapist.

A 2022 graduate of The Massage School at the St. Paul campus, Angela enjoys adapting her techniques to support each client’s relaxation and healing. She especially loves offering a fluid, calming, even‑pressure massage. Outside of her professional life, she is an artist and musician who sings with a chorus and occasionally steps up to an open mic.
