The Wondra Academy is a monthly immersive workshop series led by internationally recognized psychic medium Laurie Wondra. Held on the first Thursday of each month at Green Lotus Yoga & Healing Center, these gatherings offer practical tools and intuitive guidance to help you deepen awareness, clear energetic blockages, and strengthen your connection to higher wisdom.

Laurie Wondra is the visionary guide behind The Wondra Academy of Intuitive and Energy Arts - an internationally-acclaimed psychic medium, energy and sound healer, metaphysical and shamanic practitioner, author of eight books and an oracle deck, educator, and podcaster with listeners in more than 137 countries.

Level 2 deepens both the practical skill and the embodied understanding required to work confidently with therapeutic sound. These evening sessions move beyond foundational theory and into the art of applied facilitation. You’ll explore, through direct experience, how sound and vibration interact with the physical body, the energetic field, and the subtle systems that shape perception, emotion, and healing.

Like in Level 1, you’ll be receiving the healing power of sound in your own body—periods of immersive sound journeys interwoven with hands‑on practice. This rhythm of receiving and offering helps you integrate the work somatically while refining your skill as a facilitator.

We focus on developing your capacity to design and hold intentional sound‑based healing sessions—for individuals, groups, and for your own personal practice. You’ll learn how to select and sequence instruments, attune to the needs of a space, and guide others through restorative, transformative sound experiences with clarity and care.

A special emphasis is placed on working with the gong, including how to create a cohesive sound wash that supports deep release, nervous system regulation, and expanded states of awareness. By the end of Level 2, you’ll have a grounded, embodied toolkit for offering sound healing with confidence, sensitivity, and artistry

This is a hands-on and experiential event. If you have singing bowls or other vibration tools, bring them – they are not required; Laurie has several bowls and tools for student use and experimentation so you can find the tones and vibrations that resonate with you.   Attendance is limited to 12 - save your spot now.

Level 1 Reiki Training was filled with important knowledge on Reiki and extends beyond, centering this practice into all energetic medicine and healing modalities. It is accessible, well-planned, and very intentional. I highly recommend this training to anyone curious to know more and who wants to try their own "hands" at performing reiki.

Reiki Training Level 2: Deepening Your Practice

Deepen your connection with Reiki through the first three symbols—tools for enhancing healing, protection, and space clearing.

This intermediate-level training includes:

• Use of the Reiki symbols

• Techniques for distance or remote healing sessions

• Methods to integrate crystals, pendulums, tuning forks, and aromatherapy

• Strategies for setting energetic boundaries and clearing stagnant energy

You’ll receive your second attunement and dedicated practice time. Guided exercises will build your confidence in delivering Reiki both in-person and to recipients at a distance. Trainings are intentionally small, with a maximum of 12 participants, ensuring personalized attention and space for your questions.

Reiki Training Level 1 is a prerequisite. If you had your first level attunement elsewhere, contact us.

Most students in the St. Kate's Holistic Health Program complete levels 1 and 2 but aren't sure where to complete Master Level Training. I will recommend Green Lotus! The training was very aligned. Level 3 Reiki Master Training: Embody Your Calling

Green Lotus Level 4 Reiki Training is a transformative program designed for Master-level practitioners ready to step fully into their role as professional healers and teachers. During a Reiki Share, everyone has the opportunity to experience the benefits of reiki, ask questions, share stories, receive guidance from Reiki Master Jennifer Stano, and meet others in the community that are on a healing path. The container we create allows for authentic connection, support, and acceptance.

If you are considering pursing reiki training, this is a great forum in which to learn more about this healing system and our programs. All are welcome.

Sound Healing, Vibration Medicine, and Acoustic Technology TM describes more than pretty sounds; there is science behind the therapeutic use of sound and vibration that has been used for thousands of years.  Decades ago, Einstein said it's the healing modality of the future, but its healing properties have been around for lifetimes.  

 In this weekend immersion, you’ll learn how vibration and sound benefit the physical and energetic bodies and how to facilitate healing, clearing, and expansion in yourself and others.  You’ll learn the history of sound healing, its uses, the modernization of therapeutic sound healing, and how to perform sound healing sessions. 

We cover the chakras, the vibrational frequency and the tone for each, and tones that relate to combined chakras.  We cover the link between planetary vibration and our physical meridian portals as well as combination-tones for specific energies.  You’ll learn how to choose your bowl/s, the purpose and use of other sound tools, and how to merge sound instruments with voice. Laurie covers singing bowl playing techniques, appropriate tools to use when playing singing bowls, and care of your bowls and other sound tools.

You will be immersed in sound healing over the weekend as Laurie uses crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, Solfeggio tubes, chimes, bells, a rain drum, other drums, and additional vibration tools. The healing quality of sound has been recognized for a very long time. As early as 16,000 B.C.E. in Europe, and 40,000 B.C.E. in Australia, vibrational tools were used as healing instruments. In past eons and today, people use sound and music to find a sense of calm, to worship, and to celebrate. Sound and vibration have been part of the human experience all over the world since ancient times.

How does sound healing work?

The bowl releases vibrations that are absorbed by the body. Just as every organ and cell in each of us vibrates at a particular frequency, the sounds we create with singing bowls have their own vibration, one which helps the brain reach a level of deep relaxation. Sound healing befriends the noisy and overactive mind and allows transformation and healing to occur.

During a sound-healing session, many experience an altered state of awareness sometimes described as feeling “floaty”. Often there is a sense of reduced anxiety and muscle tension or a feeling of vast spaciousness. Medical studies have found that sound- healing vibrations encourage brainwaves to settle and enter a state of deep relaxation in the delta and theta states. This allows the mind to become quiet and still and the body to enter homeostasis, the state where healing occurs on all levels.

Sound healing instruments are not required for attendance. Laurie has bowls and tools to use. If you have a singing bowl or tingshas, you may bring them. The Saturday Night Sound Bath is 5 - 6 p.m., optional, and open to the public.
