Do your dreams ever center on your life’s outcomes? Do you feel a longing to change your future or  your present circumstances? Good news: It’s never too late to change your path and to realize your heart’s yearning for your life. Certified Professional Life Coach (iPEC), Brenda Lee Nelson has helped hundreds of men and women to create lives of success, joy, and freedom they were born to live.

Previously a corporate director of administration and human relations, she is no stranger to the pressures of professional and everyday life. The trajectory of Brenda’s personal and professional life changed as she navigated the overwhelming waves of immense grief and self-identity issues after the death of her beloved father in 2016. She became determined to convert her story into a journey of restoration.

Instead of a “10-Step Life Plan”, Brenda applies her respectful, intuitive manner to create a safe space and help you discover who you really are, freed from the judgments of others or of your subconscious. She helps you identify your non-negotiable values and how they shape who you are and who you want to become. You examine your personal and professional dreams and goals and identify manageable steps to reach them at your own pace.

As a qualified Grief Coach and Forgiveness Facilitator, she helps to bring her clients the healing they so desperately need while allowing themselves to grieve and to forgive themselves and others. Her warm sense of humor and empathic personality gives her sessions and workshops a light atmosphere while still supporting the work of breaking unproductive habits and cycles.

Brenda serves her local community as a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line and many other charitable ventures, including mentoring young girls by teaching life skills through empowerment lessons and running.

She was certified as a Professional Coach ICF by The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She earned her grief certification through the Grief to Gratitude Program (accredited by ICF). Her forgiveness training was completed under the direction of Mary Hayes Grieco, director of the Midwest Institute for Forgiveness Training. She is also trained through the Crisis Text Line as a crisis counselor and is a licensed Appreciative Living Learning Circle Facilitator.

Brenda creates a space that is warm and welcoming, embracing the feeling that this session was most important. As we sat “together” by phone I knew I could share openly, honestly, and authentically. Brenda brings humor, as well as honesty, as she asked questions about life. Often we would enjoy a smile or a laugh together, even as we mined the deeper depths for self discovery. I always looked forward to and was deeply blessed by the time Brenda and I spent together.

Brenda brings a magical coaching blend of being direct and challenging beliefs while at the same time holding a compassionate, supportive and loving space. She’s not afraid to ask the hard questions, but manages to do it in a way that invites me to dive deeper into my psyche, safely. I can feel how authentically invested she is in helping me to move toward the place I’d like to be. She cares, truly.
